Pigeon 1996-2014

I find it strange that some pet owners refer to Fido or Fluffy as 'fur baby', but I do recognise that some animals seem to transcend their place as simply the family pet.

My friend's cat, Pigeon, was one such pet.  She was a sweet and social cat.  She must have had a portrait of herself flea-bitten and bony tucked away in the attic because she looked healthy and well-groomed all the time I knew her.  She was a lovely cat, a 'furry friend', even, and will be very much missed.
