Drought

Since moving back to CA two months ago, it's only rained twice and very lightly at that.  This morning saw sprinkles; there were a few, fat drops on the patio furniture when I went outside.

Now, the afternoon sky is filled with thick, grey clouds.  I can only hope it will rain again, but, after four years of drought, I know that one rainfall won't be enough to solve the water shortage.

Let 'er rip!
