Holiday weekend
It's a holiday weekend here, but, after living some years on the Swiss German schedule, I just plain forgot about the whole thing. On Friday at the shops people were wishing each other a 'happy long weekend' and I thought, aha--something's up! The usual thing would be to barbeque, so I rang up some friends to see if they'd like to come over and break in the new grill. Of course, they had already made plans by this time, and, to top it off, the San Mateo bridge is closed the entire weekend, making it especially hard for folk to travel to and from this area.
