Running bird count in the garden

A list of birds seen in and around the back garden:

1. Sparrows
2. Black birds
3. Hummingbirds
4. Wrens
5. Robins
6. Crows--the chattiest among them.
7. Canadian geese

8.Precocious Jay
We gave him a peanut which he promptly buried in the grass.
